One of the coolest features of later versions of PhotoShop is the ability to import and work with 3-D files. This is a great feature that can really speed up the work process and help you select high quality stock images for your project. The problem I have with this though, is that not everyone has the latest and greatest versions, so importing 3-D objects in PhotoShop isn’t always an option. Another thing to think about is, what if the object you want to work with doesn’t exist.
For that reason alone, its a good idea to learn your way around the tools you have, and get the most out of the version you currently have.

Awesome, exactly what I was looking for – thank you!
