About Me
Hello Internet! My name is Tom, and my goal is to help you design your next website.
I am the owner of Tick Tock Computers LLC. I live in New Jersey with my wife and two daughters. I currently work from home as a freelance Web and Graphic Designer but I’m always looking to join forces with others to work on collaborations or even a full time position within a larger company (if you are hiring).
At my former job I worked as a Computer Operator for one of the greatest banks on the east coast. You may have heard of them, Commerce Bank of New Jersey. Sadly, we were bought by TD Bank of Toronto Canada, and my entire department was laid off due to restructuring. Thus, I have fallen back on my skills as a designer to help make ends meet.
I have clients from all over the world, most of whom work in some form of Information Technology or IT Security, but don’t let that fool you, I’m not a security expert, just lucky to know such talented people in the business.
One thing to note, I am passionate about both design and my clients. Through my connections, if there is anything you ask of me that I personally can not deliver on, I will make every effort to help find someone I know who can help you. Building relationships founded on a desire to “Wow the customer!” even if it means turning the work over to someone else. That has been something I learned while working at Commerce Bank. It’s not just about doing the job, its about taking care of the client, and making sure their needs are met. With that said, I hope you will take a few minutes to visit some of my clients sites below and feel free to contact them for professional reference if needed.

One such artist is Holly Ferris. I would like to take a moment to share with you a link to her site: Holly Ferris Art.com
Holly is an illustrator whom I worked with recently to help one of my clients reproduce an image in a large document format for printing. Our original branding image was from a jpg of low quality, and by no means applicable for printing large banners of a 6 foot nature. These banners would need to be ready and on their way to an IT Conference within just a few weeks time. Holly came through, delivering well above our expectations and I would highly recommend her for her work.

From time to time I run into projects that require a little helping hand. When that happens, I try to recruit people from the art community, mainly people found on deviantArt. The reason for choosing people from deviantArt is because most of the artists who post on their do exceptional work, are professional, and understand the process and work of a designer. One such artist is Holly Ferris. Some of This Theme’s Features
- Includes the “the_content_noautop();” function for pages, but leaves it alone for Blog Posts, allowing you to use proper line breaks <br /> while editing pages. This keeps content on pages from having alignment issues while switching between the visual and html TinyMCE Editor. See this plugin for more info: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/noautop/
- Built in vSlider mod using Easy Slider for transitions with modified text area for adding descriptions to slides.
- WordPress 3.0+ Custom Menu compatible with an added Sidebar Widget to add your custom menu to the home page.
- Additional footer widgets giving you the option to have custom footer widgets on both Pages and Blog Posts, instead of just one for both.
- Footer Widgets optimized for 250×250 pixel Ad Campaigns
- Home Page, Full Width and Sidebar templates for your pages as well as an integrated Archives Template.
- IE7 and IE8 compatible CSS files included!
