Glass Cup PSD Stock

I’ve been putting out a few pieces of work lately that all included some nifty little cups and glasses that were created 100% in PhotoShop. You can check out these works over at DeviantArt. What kind of PC do you use?

I often see people ask the question, “What kind of pc or mac is best for web and graphic design?”

WordPress Development on the go

I recently contributed an article to “Graphic Design Blender” as a guest writer on how you can take WordPress with you on the go and work completely offline during the design process. If you are interested in being able to test and create your own site in WordPress while offline, I suggest you have a look at the article. I walk you through the process of setting up your own Virtual Machine (VM) and using portable apps for your browsers to test and debug the site.

You can read more here

If you run into any problems getting this setup you can contact me for more help and I will be glad to walk you through the process.

I decided I wanted to expand on the image, since the downloads are only .ico files and meant for use on your desktop, there wasn’t any downloadable artwork such as a jpg, gif or png of the cat’s head. So I spent a few minutes reproducing the image (Read More…)

One of the coolest features of later versions of PhotoShop is the ability to import and work with 3-D files. This is a great feature that can really speed up the work process and help you select high quality stock images for your project. The problem I have with this though, is that not everyone has the latest and greatest versions, so importing 3-D objects in PhotoShop isn’t always an option. Another thing to think about is, what if the object you want to work with doesn’t exist. (Read More…)
